I'm really excited about running my first 3 hour open workshop in my local community. Unleashing the power of our inner awesome comes from recognising our own unique blend of strengths, skills and talents.
Yet most of us spend a lot of our time thinking about why we are not good enough, why we are ordinary and why we cannot or should not be everything we'd dearly love to be.
Marianne Williamson once wrote: “Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, 'Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?' Actually, who are you not to be? " But so often, we forget. We forget that it's okay to be our awesome and fabulous selves. We doubt our abilities. We fear that we won't make it through that job interview, that presentation, that upcoming confrontation with someone who let us down. We shrink back, and by doing so, we prove to ourselves that we are "just ordinary". Looking back at the testimonials for the workshops I've run internationally over the last year, I'm in awe. It reminds me of how much awesome can be unleashed when people feel confident and learn to accept themselves as the unique bundle of treasures they are.
If you need a dose of confidence, or to be reminded just how amazing you are, then come along to our Confidence Workshop on 31st May in Cookham. There will be cakes and a whole bunch of awesome people who are about to get even more awesome. I'd love you to be one of them.
